We used Ryan many years ago to hang a new high ceiling breakfast nook light. We needed a transfer switch installed for a backup generator and had no idea who to call that we could trust. Called Ryan and spoke with Pat. Explained what I needed and he asked me questions to precisely understand the project as well as providing advice. Bradley was our technician and knew exactly what he was doing. Actually called to say he could arrive early. Very professional and top-notch job!

I used Ryan Electric a few months back and decided to call them when we had a light switch start sparking. Seth was on time, professional and took the time to explain the process to me. After fixing that first issue, he was able to take the time to help me repair other less urgent issues around the house. He would explain each problem and presented different solutions so I could decide on what would be best for my budget. I appreciate the time and effort he took today. Will definitely use them first whenever anything else electrical comes up. Thanks, Seth!

I was happy to use their service, I found them to be professional and fair priced with good explanation as to the expectations and issues along with good advice regarding the installation of a 240 outlet for an EV Charging station. They showed up on time and were very quick and communicated any delays or issues. I will be using them again for future projects.

Ryan did a major amount of work for us; our 1977 house hadn't had an electrical upgrade since it was built, and we needed so much done! They gave us a bid, met our needs, treated us so professionally, answered all of our questions, added to our original list without complaint, cleaned up every bit of their work, and we just couldn't be happier with their service. They added a new electrical box in the garage, and replaced the original electrical box in the basement. They added wiring and outlets everywhere from the patio to the porch to the laundry room, garage, attic, you name it. They are absolutely the best! I recommend them, and my husband is beyond happy with their service. Hubs is a retired remodeler, so he is very picky about everyone he hires, and for these guys to make him happy means they really know what they are doing, and they do it right!

Matt provides dependable quality electrical work for Ryan Electric. He lead the installation team and upgraded service from single phase to double phase at an apartment building. Charges very competitive. Half that quoted by some of the big electrical contractors. Passed codes inspection too!Matt is my go to guy for commercial work.Matt handles electrical issues for Ryan Electric at our Home Owners Association too.

I found Ryan electric on Thumbtack.com. They were absolutely fantastic. They responded immediately, we scheduled an appointment and Matt arrived on time to do the job. He did the wiring in my basement. Once drywall was installed, I called him to finish the work and he came right out and completed the remaining install. Of note, we made a bit of a mistake that he had to fix and I added a few things on and he had no issues in fixing and finishing it all. I would highly recommend Matt to do any electrical work you need to be done. Also, the price was good. I had 2 other estimates and Ryan electric was markedly lower than one of the estimates and was competitive with the third. I really cannot say enough good about my experience with Ryan electric.

Ryan Electric is OUTSTANDING when you need them and even when you don't. We used them at our home previously and they created a perfect solution for what we were wanting and it has worked ever since. More recently I was doing some minor electrical work at my office and began to doubt how I was doing the work from a safety perspective. I contacted Ryan Electric to have them come out to complete the job for me. However, they took the time to talk over my project and they assured me that what I was doing was just fine and safe electrically. I ended up not needing their service on this last occasion, but you can be certain that they are the first and only electric service I will call in the future. They could have easily taken advantage of my ready willingness to hire them to complete my job when I did not need a professional in this instance. Wow, what integrity and honesty, and what a way to build a loyal and appreciative customer base for years to come!

We couldn't have asked for a better experience. Ryan Electric was recommended by more than one neighbor when I needed work done. Their office staff was extremely friendly and set up an appointment for me. The electricians were on time and very friendly. They diagnosed the problem and fixed it very fast and told me what the problem was. Also had them install another outlet and their work was exceptional. The price I paid was very fair. I am a project manager for the Kansas City metro area company that installs roofs, siding, windows, and bathrooms. Matt took great care of my home, same as he does each one of my clients out in the field.The pricing is fair, but moreover, their work is first rate and I would highly recommend them to everyone as I already do.

We moved into an older home and I had concerns that our breaker panel wasn't safe. I'd found several issues and can handle minor electrical but this was way beyond what I know. The owner came out and was helpful, informative, and didn't try to sell me something we didn't need.There were no needed changes and I really appreciated his honesty. He also made a referral for someone to bury out power line. That work was completed by the people that he recommended and we were really happy with it. Ryan will be my first call for any future needs.

First, he provided some guidance over the phone. He didn’t need to do that. He could have made easy money for what turned out to be an easy fix. The next time I called him, he came over, explained the situation, and inexpensively fixed the situation. Highly recommend for electrical services.

I have used Ryan Electric several times. On a basement finish job, outdoor lighting, kitchen lighting replacement and more. He has always been extremely helpful in anything that we have needed and his prices are very fair. Matt Davis of Ryan Electric did 3 service calls to a 100-year old house we bought in Norborne. He brought the knob and tube electric up to code. In addition the the other services performed, he installed four carbon monoxide and smoke detectors. I am very confident in the work performed and appreciate the prompt response to my calls. I thought they were a little expensive, but I haven't had this kind of work done before so this could be the going rate.

Pat Ryan is a fantastic electrician. We had him do several projects on our house and all of them were done professionally. He really bailed me out a couple times when I tried to do some electric work and quickly realized I had no idea what I was doing. He dropped everything he was doing so he could help so I wouldn’t be without electricity on one side of my house the whole weekend. I will use them in the future for sure! I highly recommend!

We have used Ryan electric for more than five years. They have installed new fixtures, replaced fixtures, ceiling fans, ran new electricity for a freezer in the garage, and inspected contractors work at my request. I trust them with all my electrical needs and when I have a few things to service I text them for a repair and to get a date on the calendar. I never have to wait long before they are able to come. Often two guys come and work on multiple projects simultaneously. I have no reason to hire anyone else.

I purchased a 100+-year-old home in which the main breaker panel had very little power. I hired Ryan Electric to replace the panel with a new panel with more capacity. Ryan people were on time, professional, and did the job properly.I later hired Ryan to install new light fixtures in my kitchen--to replace 3 fluorescent ceiling lights with LED fixtures. Again, I was happy with Ryan's quality and professional work.

When we moved into our new house, we had Ryan electric do all of these things: Upgrade the fuse box in the basement (it was the original fuse box from 1967 that couldn't quite keep up anymore with our modern needs); replace a bunch of 20-year old recessed lights (14 total) with new recessed LED lights; replace a bunch of outlets that had been wired incorrectly sometime in the 80s; and even installed a new oven hood for me when I realized it also had to be re-wired to work properly. All for a reasonable price. Quick response time and professional job.
